Romél Veal, born and raised on the south-side of Chicago where he grew up amongst a family of musicians. It was predestined for him to develop a passion for music at a young age. His ability to captivate audiences of different cultures and varieties of styles/genres, is phenomenal. By producing, arranging, writing, composing, orchestrating, mixing, analyzing, programming, and simply performing allows him to express music!
He has studied at Southern A&M University, Columbia College (Chicago) and Chicago State University. By him being a multi-instrumentalist, he is able to perform fluently on Bass Guitar, Synth Bass, Double Bass, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Trumpet, Trombone, Concert French Horn, Cello, Violin, Piano, Digital Keyboards, Drums, and Percussions…..just to name a few! Having the ability to express his love through music in eclectic ways is essential.
Romél has had the pleasure of performing, recording, writing, touring and/or mixing along with several accomplished artists such as; TLC, Estelle, Chanté Moore, Macy Gray, Musiq Soulchild, Tichina Arnold, Carl Thomas, Chrisette Michele, Eddie Griffin, Malcom Jamal-Warner, Boyz II Men, Antonique Smith, Fifth Harmony, Lupe Fiasco, Sean Kingston, Wynton Marsalis, Eric Darius, Eric Benét, Kenny Lattimore, J. Holiday, Tamia, Luke James, Elle Varner, 1500 or Nothin, Alvin Batiste,Tye Tribbett, The Floaters, The Impressions, Martha Wash, Darius Brooks, Gary Jenkins (Silk), and many other great artists nationwide. Romél has also been featured on TV shows such as; The American Music Awards, Glee, The Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel, and Versus & Flow. Currently, Romél is a resident of Los Angeles.
He is most likely in a recording studio, on stage, in a rehearsal, listening, practicing or just simply dreaming about music. Seriously, an unbelievable talent! He is capable of taking your music experience to a much Higher Level!!!
